EDTrainingCenter Celebrates Five Years Participation in FASPA's Annual Conference
As a Florida-based business, the homegrown relationships of FASPA are especially rewarding. We are pleased to have been a FASPA Sponsor for the past five years, and we look forward to continuing the tradition in years to come.
This year we heard fascinating insights from Hillsborough County's Pay for Performance coordinators (two of them anyway...one thing they emphasized was the collaborative approach). We also heard about hot topics in HR, of which SUBSTITUTE PROFESSIONALISM and COMPLIANCE TRAINING were the highlights for us at EDTrainingCenter. Though 22 districts already use one of our Smart Solutions, we were bombarded with interest from many other district Personnel Directors wanting to know more.
Over the past five years, we've trained tens of thousands of Florida's educators. We look forward to continuing to bring value to the education industry in our home state. Our thanks to the folks at FASPA. They always put together an energetic and productive event.

Michigan Department of Education Approves EDTrainingCenter's Introductory Teacher Training for SB-CEUs
The Michigan Department of Education recently approved the submission of EDTrainingCenter's premiere substitute teacher training, titled Introductory Teacher Training, for state CEU credits or SB-CEUs.
"This is a great addition to our already awesome accreditations in Texas, Illinois, Georgia, and New York for a variety of programs," said Rachel Fisher, Program Director for the site. "Not only does it demonstrate the level of quality of the program, it benefits sub teachers who are working to gain or keep their license. It's also a great fit with our new partnership with PESG (the Professional Educational Services Group)."
Sub Teachers in Michigan wishing to obtain SB-CEU credits for their completion of the Introductory Teacher Training may follow the instructions on the EDTrainingCenter website.
"We are especially pleased," added Fisher, "that the cost is not prohibitive. At only $15.00 additional dollars for processing, SB-CEUs for the already affordable program are very attainable, and that's important to us. We recognize that educators need access to good resources that are flexible and also affordable. In fact, that is our mission."
